Paidos school is located in Dénia, a city of 46.000 inhabitants in the north of the province of Alicante, in the east coast of Spain.

It is located really near the Montgó (nature reserve) in the shore of the Mediterranean Sea and at two kilometres of the city centre.

The school covers the educative stages of primary and secondary education, with students from 6 to 16 years old. At present 550 students study in the school and the educative staff is formed by 40 teachers. Paidos has assigned the nursery school Bambi, both with the same management and ownership. Bambi has 195 children, from 2 to 5 years and the educative staff is set up by 7 teachers.

Our ideology is based on the values of education, respect and tolerance, giving special emphasis to the human rights. We also find essential the academic, social and personal training of our students.A key support tool in our centre to achieve our objectives is sports. Its importance is evidenced by the fact that the school has a sports club with a lot of students and ex-students. This year we have 25 teams taking part in local, autonomic, provincial and regional leagues.

We should also highlight that our school is in the Quality network, and it is implementing the EFQM model in its management.

The school joined a multilingual network in the 2011 academic year and it is specially interested in European projects which involve students and teachers to improve the English language competence. Paidos was the coordinator of a Comenius project (C.O.M.I.C) during the years 2011-2013. It has taken part in a mobility project with the Comenius students during the academic year 2013-2014, and it was also, coordinator of a Comenius project (G.P.S.Com) 2013-1015. Since Erasmus+ started, we have been involved as partners in “Under the same sky” Erasmus+ Project (2017-2018) and “Lost in space” (2018 -2020). We are the coordinator from “Vlearning” an KA201 project. We also are involved in KA1, we had an experience in Denmark and Finland bringing to our school different requirements which nowadays are our brand during the last 3 years.
